About

I am originally from Dayton, Ohio, and currently reside in Austin, Texas. I earned my undergraduate degree from Bluffton University, my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Hampton University, and completed my Sports Physical Therapy residency at the Jackson Clinics in the DMV area.

As a graduate of a sports residency program, I am now a Sports Physical Therapist at ROI Physical Therapy & Sports Performance in Austin, TX. My experience includes collaborating with athletic trainers, shadowing physicians to deepen my understanding of surgical procedures, and working alongside personal trainers to optimize exercise progression and regression. I am actively involved in research focused on educating the active population about effective hydration strategies surrounding exercise. Additionally, I hold a certification in Dry Needling, Sports Specialist Certification (SCS) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)

Looking ahead, I aim to work as a sports physical therapist at the collegiate, or professional level. I plan to enhance my clinical practice by obtaining a certification and furthering my education in sports nutrition.
